Securing Hope for Victims of Human Trafficking

The Hope Center Indy (HCI) is a faith-based organization where female victims of human trafficking, primarily between the ages of 18 and 30, can seek refuge and begin the healing process. (HCI) operates solely off donations and volunteer work from around the community. The main focus of (HCI) is to give these women the opportunity for a normal life. (HCI) provides basic needs from housing all the way to education and job training.

KST Security salesman, Scott Wheatley, heard about (HCI) through his church. He and his family began volunteering during the winter of 2016. Scott eventually provided (HCI) with his business card, should they have any security needs. Executive director/co-founder, Pastor Hubert Nolen, spoke with Scott about KST’s involvement. President, Skip Sampson, decided to donate installation labor and provide equipment at cost for the growing organization and deserving cause.

KST Security installed a Feenics access control system for The Hope Center. KST partnered with Allegion/Schlage who provided electronic door hardware, card readers and access control fobs. KST and (HCI) have plans for future expansion of the systems as The Hope Center moves through its different phases of development. KST Security remains committed to ensuring the safety of the staff and guests of the organization.

KST Security would like to thank all KST associates, Feenics, Allegion, Windy City Wire and Altronix whose support was vital to the successful completion of this phase of the project.
